Bravery Talk
There was this conversation with my Mom while we watched 13th Warrior in FOX channel. My mom said this when there was a war scene between a 'normal' tribe and a cannibal tribe.
"People of old days fought with swords bravely, didn't they?'
I just nodded while watching the film.
"So different with people nowadays, they use guns, bombs, even biological weapons, so they can attack without getting much hurt."
"Yes, they are," I answered calmly. "It took so much bravery to end someone's life and to die at the same time. Especially if you face your opponents directly."
"Maybe people become more cowardice these days."
Just a priceless conversation at noon before Eid come.
